A pet’s lost and found network. When a pet is reported missing on Pets Reunited, notifications with the missing pet’s details will be displayed on its lost and found network until it is reunited with its owner(s). The report will also be sent to local vets, rescues, and volunteers. The service also equips the owners with missing pet posters and other tools to help with the reunification.

A DEFRA-compliant database. A pet’s microchip number is recorded on a database registry with details about the animal and owner. Should the pet stray or become lost, vets, animal shelters, and local councils can scan the pet for a microchip and contact the owner via the database.
